At Hello, we know that a tiny spark can start something big. Our people know the power of a single word of encouragement, a kernel of an idea, a lone voice of advocacy, an unsteady first step. They know that just one small ember has the power to transform the future, bringing bring light into the dark. We also know that now, perhaps more than ever, we could all use a little more light. So, it is in that spirit that we have chosen Ignite as our theme for the 2021-2022 school year. We will shift our attention to different ignition points over the year, beginning this fall by focusing on Confidence.
The last year and a half has rattled us all. Kids, families, and districts are fragile right now. THFers are too. But by operating from our four core values — Put Kids First, Provide Quality Service, Practice Work-Life Balance, and Give — we bring a focused and centered strength to the table. Are we always 100% sure what to do next? Of course not! But anchoring ourselves in those values gives us the confidence to continue to show up, work collaboratively, and do whatever we can to help others find their footing in the communities we serve. We’re spending the fall in search of tiny sparks that will help others burn bright this year, and can’t wait to see what we discover.
