Fall 2016 Hello MVP

November 11, 2016 BY Kira Wright, CCC-SLP

We are “Pressing Play”  this year! We’re exploring play as a way to live, work, and interact with all those around us. And in our group there are lots of great folks playing and working in incredible ways, so we’re recognizing a member of our group each quarter as a Most Valuable Player (MVP)

This fall, we have chosen Jordan Lusk as our MVP because of the positive face she puts on Hello!

Jordan Lusk MVP

Jordan has been with The Hello Foundation since 2014, serving students in central Washington through our Hello There model. Jordan regularly strikes a perfect balance between asking for support and guidance when she needs it, and providing encouragement and compassion to those around her! She is a supportive co-worker, a thoughtful problem-solver, a valuable participant at company events, and an enthusiastic representative of The Hello Foundation to families and administrators.
This fall, when our clinicians received new materials to support them in educating staff about speech & language services, Jordan was one of the first to ask questions and share ideas for using the new resources. She has a keen sense for like-minded professionals providing quality services to kids, and took the opportunity last month to recognize the principal at her school for the outstanding support she gives to families.

THE CREATION OF SOMETHING NEW IS NOT ACCOMPLISHED BY THE INTELLECT, BUT BY THE PLAY INSTINCT.

We are challenging ourselves this year to grow and be creative in all kinds of settings! Jordan, we hope you can find new inspiration, new activities, and new connections with the Kiwi Crate subscription we’re sending you. Play on!
