PUTTING KIDS FIRST IN THE TIME OF COVID-19:
How The Hello Clinic is Transforming

Tough times call for tough decisions, but when you have a core value of “Put Kids First,” you always have an anchor for your ship. Our commitment to serving kids and their families is unwavering, and we are working hard to figure out how to honor that commitment while keeping the health and safety of kids, families, and our staff at the forefront. Here is what we’re offering, what we’re thinking about, and what we’re doing.

  • Speech Therapy

We are currently providing one-on-one speech and language services to clients via teletherapy with insurance and private pay options. We recognize that this treatment model may not be the best fit for every child and limited spots for in-person services will be offered as state health and safety regulations allow. • Occupational Therapy

We are currently providing one-on-one occupational therapy to clients via teletherapy with private pay and insurance options available. We recognize that this treatment model may not be the best fit for every child and limited spots for in-person services will be offered as state health and safety regulations allow. • Small Groups

Providing social opportunities for kids is an important part of our work and we’re being thoughtful about how we can provide them while keeping everyone healthy. We are currently providing small group services online, and we anticipate holding our popular Parents’ Night Out evenings with some modifications to ensure safety. • Stability, Flexibility, and Transparency

We know relationships between therapists and families are special and that there is a premium on stability when so much of life feels unpredictable. We are working hard to minimize disruption, to understand and meet diverse family needs, and to keep the lines of communication open as our situation evolves. Have questions? Contact us >>

  • Focusing on Families

The Hello Clinic waiting room has always felt more like a living room to us, and that presents unique challenges when having to consider what’s required to keep people safe and healthy. We are following the guidance of both Governor Kate Brown and other experts while making decisions about how to best use our space to meet the needs of the families we serve while also working to protect them.

  • Staff Health and Wellness

Our clinicians and office staff are the backbone of the Hello Clinic and keeping them healthy and well is of paramount importance. We are being mindful of the risks they are exposed to with in-person services as well as working to create plans that will allow them to care for themselves and their family members should they become ill. Our Promise to You

The Hello Promise is our word, the vow we make to every person with whom we interact. It is what we will always do, no matter what.
None of it is particularly easy, but we’re not in the business of easy. And yes, we know. Promises are simple to make. Keeping them is the hard part.
