Clinic Move Timeline and Celebrating Change

June 9, 2021 BY Renee Limon

We have always been party people. While we’ve gathered for modest masked clinic birthday celebrations, the party vibe has pretty much been put on hold for the past 18 months. That changed for the better this past Saturday. Christina, Sarah, Laura, Jenny, Lauren, and I gathered together with our schools friends from The Hello Foundation at Rossi Farms. We hugged. We played cornhole. We celebrated our accomplishments and challenges during the pandemic. It felt so good to laugh and talk, and see everyone’s full face! We even got to catch up with Lori, and hear about her schools job and family over the past year. We raised our glasses and cheered when Jenny presented Lauren with the clinic employee of the year award! She’s such a rock star.

Looking forward, we have so much to celebrate, including our upcoming clinic move! Later this month, we are packing up all our favorite games and toys, art supplies, and gym equipment, and moving to a new clinic.

From Monday, June 21 to Friday, July 2, we make a temporary shift to all therapy appointments. Check your email for your clinician’s zoom link. For clients who regularly have online therapy, we don’t expect that our move will impact you.

We will be closed on Monday, July 5 to celebrate Independence Day. All therapy sessions will be canceled for the holiday.

On Tuesday, July 6, we welcome back all those who have in-person therapy appointments at our new clinic home:

4900 SW Griffith Drive, Suite 157
Beaverton, OR 97005

We’ll share reminders on Facebook, Twitter, and via email so that everyone knows when we switch to all-online therapy during the move transition.

Over the next few weeks, school years will come to a close. We’ll have more opportunities to get outside, reconnect, and gather together as we kick off summer. As much as many of us have craved a return to normal, change can be jarring and bring up lots of feelings. We hope you will be patient with yourselves and your family members as we move through a summer of change and our transition to our new clinic home.
