I have learned that Hello is being recognized as 1 of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon in 2018 by Oregon Business Magazine.

This is because the people who work for Hello are the best in Oregon.
Sure, they completed the survey that took us down this yellow brick road to being recognized.
But lots of folks can complete a survey.
And lots of other folks in other companies did.
Their excellence comes from their collaborative nature, the safe environment they nurture, how they make questions more important than answers.
This is especially meaningful to me because unlike others on the list:
we don’t make shoes,
we don’t staff secretarial work,
we don’t design microchips.
We do the hard work of giving to kids, families, and adults in need.
We carry the emotional weight of people’s dreams for a better life.
Simultaneously, we strive to take care of each other.
So today I say congratulations to the people of Hello on making us one of the best.
Everyday.
And now officially, too.
Thank you.
Oregon Business is an award-winning magazine founded in 1981. The magazine reaches more than 20,000 business, political and civic leaders across the state. It reports on a wide range of such big-tent topics as leadership, innovation, technology, culture, politics and environment.
